Auction: Super Cool World | Nina Chanel Abney

Combining representation and abstraction, Nina Chanel Abney’s works capture the frenetic pace of contemporary culture. Broaching subjects as diverse as race, celebrity, religion, politics, sex, and art history, her works eschew linear storytelling in lieu of disjointed narratives.’

‘Super Cool World’ is Abney’s venture into the co-existence of the digital and physical worlds. In limited editions of 1/1 for each of the unique digital 5080 artworks, printed counterparts exist where the original buyers chose to bring the work into a physical print in collaboration with Avant Arte. The reverse of each print is finished with a bespoke stamp and was meticulously created in New York studios.

An Abney collection of this size is unlikely to reach the art market again.
