[From the Studio of John Singer Sargent] A 19th Century giltwood console table

All over fair condition. Marble top worn and chipped to edges. Uneven colouration with brown spotting and darker areas of marble. Marble top not affixed. Signs of old woodworm to interior of console and well as cracking to supports. Later re-gilt with some wear and patination to gilding. Gilding chipped in small areas.
