A Chinese pale celadon jade censer and cover, Qing dynasty, the compressed globular body on three elongated legs, the cover carved a coiled dragon, the sides carved entwined dragons, on a carved wooden stand, 15cm high (excluding stand)/Provenance: Richard Woosnam of Ty'n-y-graig, Breconshire, while accompanying Sir Henry Pottinger either on his mission to China to conclude the historic Treaty of Nankin in 1842 or subsequently between 1843-45 when Secretary to Sir Henry as first Governor of Hong Kong. Thence by family descent to present owner
