Footnote:: Owen Scrubey's father was head gardener at Rodmarton Manor and, through the Biddulph family, became an apprentice to Peter Waals and was initially taught by Percy Burchett and Bert Hunt. Some of Scrubey's work can be seen at Rodmarton. He further worked on projects for Sir George Trevelyan and with Fred Gardiner worked on a commission for forty chairs for Edward Barnsley. He later worked on several items for Wycliffe College Chapel.

All over good condition, structurally sound. Turning wood handle damaged and needs refixing. A little white residue to interior base.
