John Alves Arbuthnot (1802–1875) was Sir William's son and owned Coworth House, near Ascot in Berkshire. Arbuthnot was a director of the London Assurance Company and the London and Colonial Bank. Thomas George Odling (1911-2002) was a Clerk in the House of Commons.
