A pre Second World War signed B. Warsop (Marylebone) cricket bat, endorsed with Patsy Hendren’s facsimile signature, with maker’s stamps and SHORT HANDLE to blade, inscribed and dated ‘All Indian XI 1936’ and signed by Indian players including: V.J. Merchant, the other side signed by England and County Cricket players, including G.O. Allen, Patsy Hendren, F. Price, A.H. Chapman and others, with presentation inscription: ‘For Hounslow Hospital Middlesex’, 85cm long

India played three Test matches against England in 1936 and lost the series 2-0, with one match drawn.
