spines sunned with applied paper shelf labels to feet of spines, top edges dustmarked and foreedges a little foxed. endpapers foxed, both volumes with half titles. plates a pictured. pages a little toned. Bindings sound but volume one with rear hinge cracked. no ownership inscriptions noted. a few old booksellers markings in pencil
