Newsbasket was the monthly internal journal of the staff of W. H. Smith and Son launched in 1908, spanning two world wars and with its last issue in 1978. It was succeeded by the 'Newslink' magazine. Editors included J. W. Frings, C. R. Kemp, J. A. Rowles, L. Taylor and David Alston.
