Hartlebury Castle is a historic Worcestershire estate first given to Bishop Aelhun in 855AD. Home of the Bishops of Worcester until 2007. it has a longstanding connection with the Sandys family throughout its history.

Davenant: wear to extremities and some scuffs , corners bumped, joints starting and hinges cracked, pages toned, lacking front endpaper, pages a little foxed and spotted, especially towards the front and latter sections, not collated
Anderson: joints starting, corners bumped and some scuffing and wear to extremities, endpapers foxed and reverse of frontispiece browned, title toned and browned in parts, front endpaper loose, not collated
