A collection of eleven leather bound desk blotters, nine of which emblazoned with the Sandys crest or gilt stamped 'Ombersley Court' with two further plain leather bound blotters; together with a scrapbook album of drawings and watercolours in a decorative binding gilt tooled 'Marie' to cover, 4to, and an unfilled Victorian leather bound 'Friendship' photo album stamped by 'M & Co.', red morocco with gilt tooling and brass clasp, landscape 4to (22cm x 31cm) inscribed to Margie, 1889 (13)

Chorley’s Auctioneers is to offer selected contents from Ombersley Court to include furniture, paintings and works of art collected by the English aristocratic family of Sandys across five centuries.
Proceeds from the sale will go to the Sandys Trust, a charity committed to supporting the varied charitable interests of the late Lord and Lady Sandys.
