The Sandys dessert service, a George III silver gilt composite dessert service, comprising twelve fiddle, thread and shell pattern dessert forks and eleven dessert spoons (two of the spoons apparently unmarked), William Sumner & Richard Crossley, circa 1780, ten shell pattern fruit knives, partial mark only and steel blades marked Garrard London and twelve fruit knives, Moses Brent, London 1800, the pistol grip handles with shell terminals, weight excluding steel bladed knives approximately 1860g
